ABOUT

Since 2002, the Fashion Summer Session is a summer abroad session organised by Modalyon. It has been welcoming every year about 30 advanced students and young professionals with different backgrounds from all over the world to immerse themselves into the extraordinary world of French Fashion… all while building an international network. Wanna join the tribe?

Broaden your fashion knowledge

From history of fashion to today’s international luxury challenges, not only does this study-abroad program offers a cultural experience focused on the French culture and fashion know-how, it also gives students and young professionals from all over the world a condensed overview future challenges of luxury businesses.

For 3 weeks, students will have the opportunity to learn from practicing professionals and will benefit from some behind-the-scene secrets from luxury and fashion houses.

Lyon, capital of silk

You will be surprised by its fashion history background.

The industry of silk is deeply related to the city of Lyon, producing fabrics for Versailles and the royal courts, this industry remains until today a vibrant European hub for fashion production and a hot spot for young designers and luxury houses.

Not to mention that Lyon is a very pleasant city which has been chosen as Europe’s best weekend destination in the World Travel Awards 2016!

Take the chance to live your passion for fashion

Learn different perspective from different people !

Have you ever wanted to learn about your passion from another point of view? Or wanted to debate about it with fellow students from all over the world? Studying abroad is a unique opportunity to learn, to extend your network, and getting to know yourself.

It’s also a way to make new friends and experience together the French way of living, to learn more about the culture, to feel the social atmosphere and to discover the French cuisine.
